TTPB: Congrats man. UCSD job and industry wise. There are many reports out there to show UCSD is only a ranking or two below CMU for job prospects. Mind sharing your stats? For all of us that got rejected by UCSD

Is UCSD CS MS a good program. Doesn't it take hundreds of students every year? Moreover counting 100-200 deferrals last year wouldn't it be just too crowded?

Generic rejection letter on the portal

Did my undergrad study(major in CS) at a UC. I have two strong LoRs from two (UCSD alumni) tenured Professors(one obtained a Ph.D. degree from UCSD, one did his Postdoc research and served as a Research Faculty at UCSD for more than 5 years) and one strong LoR from a rising star assistant professor. Still got rejected. I met lots of students with lower GPA/weaker background(or even majored in other majors during undergrad) who got accepted from UCSD. So it seems a little bit weird to me that I get rejected.

How many were accepted at all?
