Graduate School Admission Results

Canadian applicant. I received an unofficial MA offer from the EFS department via email. They let me know that a formal offer from GPS will follow in the next couple weeks.

$25000 Canadian Dollar funding per year

I inquired by email and I was told the committee has started to send admission offers to applicants and my application was waitlisted, but that they expect that I should hear within the next couple days regarding the outcome! I am very hopeful and this is absolutely my top program! So if you are thinking about turning it down, please let them know!

Had a MSc and BASc in math before applying. Arranged research supervision with advisor in advance.

Ignore stats - has anyone received news from UofA PolSci? I applied back in November and my status is still pre-screening in the portal

Ignore interview. Did anyone hear back from U of Alberta? Or have any idea when can we expect the decision?

Fully Canadian trained (same person as the phd interview on Feb 10). Got an email acceptance from the grad chair assistant, then one from my supervisor of congrats, then the grad chair (after my interview, I asked when to hear back, she said end of next week! I’m a week early!!)

Canadian (domestic). Declining interview to go to UofT

Fully Canadian trained, GPA from Masters, got an email notice for an interview, to happen next week. No change in status (still says pre-screening), fingers crossed.

Accepted on the condition that I complete a qualifying year. Very happy 1a/0w/0r/1p
