Rejected after interview. Had chatted with one professor and the GPD before applying. So sad.

Over 240 applications, don't know how many they accepted?

GPA is from Master's. Really disappointed, but hoping that I come off the waitlist soon. They gave the usual response, saying that there was a large pool of qualified applicants and that they couldn't offer admission to all of them due to funding constraints. Fingers crossed for good news!

Notified through email. "We received over 240 applications this year, a remarkable number."

Ignore Status. Hi, has anyone heard from this program? My status is still “in review”.

Interviewed on Jan 27 and received an acceptance letter stating the funding package via email on Feb 2.

Received this response from the department today: "Thank you for your application to NYU Steinhardt. This has been an extremely competitive year for the program. We anticipate only 3% of the applicant pool will be offered admission. We can confirm all who were invited for interviews received their invitation. Only those interviewed are still under consideration for admission. All applicants whether interviewed or not will receive a formal decision on their application in early March."

Did anybody hear back from the department? I thought notifications were to be made by Feb 15th.
