Graduate School Admission Results

Applied in October and didn't get any notifications till now.

Got an email saying a decision had been made, found out it was posted to the you.usc portal two days prior. Super excited since this was my first acceptance after three rejects.

Still waiting. Been warned these programs are a cash grab.

Partial funding. Had good LoR and am currently working with a professor.

I was accepted to their ds. Also, >3.9 GPA w/ published papers in my major.

I have applied on 23rd Nov 2015. Has anyone got the admits. My status still shows under review. When is the decision expected.

Emailed POI for update. He replied that although he can't comment on my application individually, in general if I haven't yet had an interview, then I'm rejected.

I was one of the below posters with a 3/22 acceptance. To answer the Q on deposit deadline, I was given exactly 1 month until 4/22 to decide. Have not yet heard back from any other programs I applied to, just to understand all my options will wait and see, but NYU was one of my top 2 choices and will most likely accept the offer.

By far I have not received any email from NYU Data Science saying that I am admitted ,waitlisted or rejected. So.. what is this? Is there still hope?

As suspected I have been wait-listed. They anticipate a Final Decision by late April and no funding available. Not sad at all but may have to decline as it is a quite expensive program and got better offers money wise.

Hi! To the posters below, I am also on the waitlist and got this information from my Fulbright adviser who was in contact with Graduate Admissions. "The earliest we will look at the waitlist is around April 15. However, we not have a timeline for finalizing the waitlist. Generally, applicants can be admitted to a program until the start of the semester so offers can go out until sometime in August." B.S. in Physics, minors in Computer Science and Mathematics. Research experience in machine learning techniques including an undergraduate thesis on artificial neural networks. 2 years of industry software engineering experience

Low GPA, no papers, already have a computer science masters. Lots of academic projects. Thrilled to get in :)
