TTPB: are you an international student? any international hear back from the program?

Hello all, I just got accepted to the JSP program. So lucky! I received an email from Dean Taeku Lee as well as his number to call and discuss admission with him. Was expecting a phone call so check your emails! Good luck!

TTPB: yeah, it's one of the unsolved mysteries. I think it is because schools want to make sure of not sending additional acceptance. If schools are looking in this site "JUST SEND THE REJECTIONS!" and make our mind in ease. IF for some reason you want to accept someone you reject absolutely NO ONE is going to complain if you revolt your rejection.

Well, that is unfortunate... is there a reason why the rejection emails come with a delay?

EECS PhD offers are all sent out. Berkeley does not have a waitlist. If you didn't receive anything, your formal rejection email is on the way.

[TTPB] : Had a strong interview too, but didn't receive anything yesterday. I spoke to my POI, and while he didn't have access to the full details himself (about adcom's decisions), he mentioned it's likely to be bad news if we haven't received anything yet. If anyone has more concrete info, by all means share. Otherwise, rejected after interview - Exhibit A. F in the chat.

I haven't heard anything from the program. If the previous posts could provide some guidance, they would be sending out admits by the end of this week or next Monday

Are the Berkeley admits coming all at the same time? Area: CV, has a pretty good interview, interviewer said decision would come out in March (but the person wasn't on the committee). If I don't get an email today (haven't got one yet), does that mean reject?
