Rejected by Phd program but admitted for a masters.

Ignore waitlist, has anyone heard back from UMiami yet?

If you are admitted but planning to attend other PhD Programs, please let the Department know ASAP. Your consideration is greatly appreciated. This is my only hope. Thank you

Ignore waitlist. Applied for gravity and HEP-ex. No offers yet and waiting to hear back from UT Austin, Purdue, JHU, Northwestern, and UC riverside, expecting rejection but if anyone has heard from these schools recently that would be good to know!

Has any of you heard any news? They only said I am on waitlist. Also I want to know about University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Do they send any offers?

CMT/ QI. No pubs. Two relevant projects.

A little bit surprised I was contacted by a prof who is not my POI. Have a quick chat focusing on my previous project experience and research interests today. Subfield: CMP

I was waitlisted in Jan and had an interview by POI today. They will release their final results very soon.

I was accepted to the PhD as well, and I had an unofficial acceptance to the masters three weeks ago, so it's not surprising. Offer letters should be up in the portal now!

Interviewed by a prof in committee. He said they are evaluating all the waitlist candidates and all the results will be out soon.
