TTPB: Hey sorry if i offended you :P, but anyway congratulations!!!! our profile is extremely similar (even i have an A* publication, believe it if you want). Also do you mind sharing from which college you are.

First of all, you can't assume it's an accepted "guy". Secondly, here's my profile - I have 2 research internships (apnning 1.5+ years), also an industrial internship in an MNC. International student. Have multiple published papers, at good international venues falling in the top 15 CS conferences in scholar matrix. GPA around 9/10. GRE score 325+. toefl 110+.

TTPB: accepted guy, can you share your profile? Umass was supposed to be a safe uni for me but i seriously dont get wtf is going on

Randomly checked portal to see acceptance. Any group for MS? Other admits, did you guys receive an email afterwards?

Checked my portal randomly, status was Update Pending. Congratulatory message on the Welcome Tab made my day. I accepted the offer and the status changed to Confirmed. Super excited!!

TTPB: I don't think that the system error means anything. I have seen this error previously also, and it gets fixed after some time. You are reading too much into it.

I am the "Fingers crossed" guy from 5/6 updates below. When I was finally able to get check my status, it was still "Application Under Review". So, yeah, no luck there. Let us see.

Anyone else has update pending on the portal other than the below two people?

TTPB: I am same person who you replied too. I am getting a system error too. I am having an anxiety attack. But logical this close to March 15, it's going to be a reject.

TTPB: I am getting a system error when checking my status, which means they are probably changing it to 'Update Pending'. I do not see any acceptance letter on the 'Graduate Applicant Center' page, so as much as I'd like to believe that both of us are getting admits, it could go either way. Fingers crossed. Not waitlist. Just saw update pending on portal. Does everyone have that? Will it be rejects only now?

Are all the admits out? Or still to come? Any info on MSCS degree??

Not waitlist. Just wanted to let everyone know that their application instructions say that all the CICS PhD decisions have come out and Masters decisions will be out by March 15.

So is UMass done sending admits?

TTPB: I have applied for the MS/PhD program and haven't heard anything. At this point, there is very little chance that we will hear anything positive. They already had the candidate day on 4-5 March. If you have applied for the MS/PhD track, you will be considered for the MS track.
