Yes, even I have received the "Your GT Account is:" message on my application. I have applied for Masters though. Don't know what it means.

Did anyone get 'Your GT Account is: ' on their portal? Does that mean anything?

I emailed the admissions comm regarding GtID not showing on the application and this was their reply. "There is not a particular time that the number starts showing up. It is based on when some processes happen in the background. The presence or absence of the GTid does not impact the department reading the application."

The gtID doesn't mean a thing. If I see one more post about it lmao...

Ttpb: Is everyone's portal updated to reflect the gtid below the reference number?

TTPB: I don't think so. I got my GTID last year (for F20) and still got rejected. So I don't think it means anything in terms of rejection or acceptance. You should definitely reach out to the graduate school.
