Graduate School Admission Results

Kinda disappointing, although I didn't expect to get in regardless. Congrats to those who were accepted.

I got a notice that I was rejected from the PhD program but forwarded to the Master's review committee. Is this a good sign?

Email to check portal, rejected, Didn't get an interview after applications but met with PI in November and he said he would love to work with me, seems like 2-3% admission rate was true.

DAPS/RILE applicant. 4 years of post-masters advanced/doctoral level quantitative research; 2 strong LORs (one from international expert in statistics), 1 good LOR; no GRE; 2 co authored publications, 2 conference presentations, 3 manuscripts in prep (1 first author); first generation college student; Pretty gutted.

To the poster below: congratulations on receiving two offers from schools at that level in a single day!

GPA is for MFA. It expected it to be competitive. Not too worried.

Not surprised. Glad that they told me relatively early!

PhD admission committee recommended MS instead of PhD. My application has been transferred to the MS admission committee. Anyone know if this happens a lot?
