Computation For Design And Optimization (CDO), Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) The email mentions 9 newly admitted CDO/CSE students who will be attending their admit event. While this number appears low for combined MS/PHD admits, the email suggests that right now is a difficult time to travel. There are two ways to look at this: 1. Most admits have been notified, but are unable to travel due to coronavirus (hence the low number of students attending the event) or 2. More students might be accepted given the program typically admits between 10-20 students for CDO. I'd place my money on #1. - Someone who is likely to receive a reject

Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) TTPsB: Have the same feeling with you guys. From the past years I saw there's several offers coming out after the first wave of acceptance and before the open house. But it seems not the case for this year. Don't know what is going on.
