I am an international student, I have 1 year of professional research experience ( first publication coming in 2020), 3 years of professional work experience, MA degree (4.0 GPA, valedictorian). That said, my GRE scores were awful except for AWA which was 5/6. I suspect these don't matter as much as speaking with a professor beforehand (they recommended it but I was unable to do so for personal reasons). I assume that as long as you have an idea for a research project that matches the prof's interests, you should be okay :) best of luck to everyone who was invited to an interview! First Rejection

Had an interview about a week before the admit came in.

Kinda disappointed. Not my top choice. But I was at least expecting to be wait-listed. Oh well.

Non-CS Undergrad, I have been working like crazy to take prerequisites, build my own projects, get LORS. Really happy to have been admitted, it has been a long 1.5 years to make the switch from poly-sci to comp-sci.
