Graduate School Admission Results

Was told to check my applicant status page to view status update.

The very warm and welcoming email is from a scholar whose work I admire in the UCSC English department and is an unofficial recommendation (written in bold for emphasis) of acceptance, NOT an official letter of acceptance. I am honored and beyond grateful. This is my second season, and I was planning to keep trying every year for as long as it takes because my application improves every time I fill out a new one. Applying to PhD programs is such a difficult process. May your dreams come true; if not this time, then keep trying. I send out good vibes to everyone reading this. Bon chance! xo

Got an email to check status

Received an email that stated a decision had been made on my application and to check my portal.

Congrats to those who received interviews. Does anyone know if all interviews have already been sent?

GPA is from Master's degree. Had an interview this morning and was accepted by e-mail about an hour later. It's the UK so funding decision is separate and in competition.

had an informal meeting with PI last October; no formal interview; got an email from PI saying that official offer will come very soon
