TTPB: what did the department say to you?

TTPB: When did you notice the status change? I checked the portal today and there is no change, so I guess maybe I am not admitted.

I did not publish during my undergrad, I only did one research experience that was unrelated to the program which is ok since I learned skills that can be applied to other fields. I am glad to have been accepted to the program and I wish you all the best of luck!

Status changed on the website. Acceptance but no info about funding.

Been recommended for admission to the Dean of the Graduate Division.

Specialization: AI. Received an email from the department telling me that I'm being recommended. Then three days later I received the offer. No publication. One year of research experience.

to the ucsd admit below with the following profile: Undergrad from a Tier 3 college in India. 321 GRE 3 publications Could you please tell about your publications, are these in indian conferences like springer or ieee or these international like acl or emnlp, etc This would help me for my profile, thanks

Um just to answer the last question, I have not heard back from Scripps since the Open House last month. When I spoked to my PI then, it seemed as if the committee would be making decisions in March for AOS.

Re: UCSD has done sending offers long time ago. Better look for other options if you have any. They are just too busy to send out rejection letters.
