To the person below: still waiting on any word from Columbia, but have been accepted at Stevens BI&A and Georgetown. To all posters below: did you receive a waitlist notification before acceptance/rejection notifications? best of luck to all!

No research papers. Quite a few ML projects, few self initiated ones. TOEFL - 116. 16 months work ex. Masters Thesis on ML

3.2/4.0 GPA, GRE Q:166/V:162/AW:4, TOEFL:115, 1 conference paper, 2.5 years software development exp. with SAP Labs, Strong LoRs, Good SoP

Over 11 years of experience in networking, embedded systems, and IoT. Few patents and hackathon wins. Strong LORs.

Has anybody received rejection from this Program ?

to the poster below, is it also true about master applicants? I called the department yesterday and they told me that they'll finish reviewing master applications by the end of march. and I asked if not receiving an admission till now means that I am rejected and he answered no, they are still not done! so I'm wondering if what you said is only about PHD or also master applicants!

Still heard nothing yet! Getting a little anxious since it looks like acceptances are being handed out already

Thinking about attending, definitely. Question for everyone else around here: what other programs were you considering? Did anyone consider Steven's BI&A or the Data Science programs at Berkeley, USF or NYU?

To the poster below, they should email the decision in 4-6 weeks. According to the Webinar that's available on Youtube, they said they will start evaluating in the last week of March. Considering there are 50 seats, they are going to be looking at individuals with a higher score in Personal Profile, with some basic programming, although CS and Statistics Majors are not their target. I personally think if one is targeting non CS and Statistics majors, basic programming should not be a part of the course, but instead it should be offered in an extra semester.

To the posters below. I am not a NYU Undergraduate student so I shouldn't have a NYU University ID number to create NetID and login to Albert right? Just want to confirm that I didn't miss anything. Went to check the application status page and nothing is shown there.

Is there anyone who is still waiting for their decision? I still did not hear anything about them.
