Graduate School Admission Results

Posted previously regarding unofficial acceptance but just received the official offer a few moments ago :) For the geosystems MS, no funding.

Glad to have at least been waitlisted :-)

Unofficial offer via email. The official offer will be out in 2 weeks. originally applied to PhD, admitted to MS program with no funding.

Has anyone heard decisions back? It feels like it's getting pretty late in the game! Maybe I should reach out to PI, but scared of the reject!

TTPB: Can you please tell which area you have applied to and did your PI mention anything about funding?

I was notified by a PI that I should be getting an official acceptance offer letter from the department. It has almost been a week since the email from my PI, but I am yet to receive any communication from the department regarding my acceptance. Does anyone know when I can expect an email from the department based on your experience?

My work experienced wasn't clearly social services, but also not 'definitely not' social services. I'm guessing they ultimately decided it wasn't, but I wish they could've told me that before I applied (they wouldn't tell me!)

(Ignored the waitlist...) Did any international Ph.D. applicants get an interview?

This is one of the prior accepted posters. I submitted my application less than an hour before the application deadline (on December 15th). I doubt that when you applied before the deadline matters.

I still can not believe it. Earth science major, strong SOP, and letters of rec. I did not have the strongest GPA when I applied, all prerequisite courses completed. 1 year of research and 2 years working at a CE Lab. Accepted with full funding.

Received an email that I was recommended for admission. Fellowship and assistantship position detail. Will accept the offer once the official letter comes in two weeks.
