Rejected after being waitlisted, and was notified via generic email after waiting over a week and calling multiple times past the deadline for decisions. I've already committed to a university more willing to work with me and who has been friendlier, so this doesn't hurt as much as it would have a month ago. |

Unfortunately, this was my only application this year. So, I will have to try again next year at a wider variety of schools. I have spent four happy and lucky years of study in both China and Japan (with a grad degree in America in between), but even these language skills could not make up for the apparent flaws in my application. I will stay strong and try again next year (keep with my strategy of time in Asia, maybe going to Mongolia). |
