Asian Studies, Georgetown University I’m still waiting to hear back as well. I can only refresh my email so many times. I heard admissions might be a bit backed up and it is spring break. Don’t know if either of those are effecting decisions. If you hear anything please post!

Asian American Studies, University of California-Los Angeles Rejected after being waitlisted, and was notified via generic email after waiting over a week and calling multiple times past the deadline for decisions. I've already committed to a university more willing to work with me and who has been friendlier, so this doesn't hurt as much as it would have a month ago.

East Asian Language And Civilization, Harvard University Email to check website. A little bit disappointed albeit mental preparation. After all Harvard is the only institution that I wanted to enroll for the past two years. But good luck everyone. Congrats to the admits!

History And East Asian Languages, Harvard (Graduate School Of Arts And Sciences) Unfortunately, this was my only application this year. So, I will have to try again next year at a wider variety of schools. I have spent four happy and lucky years of study in both China and Japan (with a grad degree in America in between), but even these language skills could not make up for the apparent flaws in my application. I will stay strong and try again next year (keep with my strategy of time in Asia, maybe going to Mongolia).

Asian Studies, The University of Texas at Austin "We unfortunately cannot guarantee funding for you at this time." One year teaching English in Japan, 3 month internship at a govt relations firm in Tokyo, 3 month internship at a DC govt relations firm.
