Got an email from Kay Burns this afternoon.

Well, since I wasn't invited to an interview...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

IGNORE WAITLIST. I applied to their MA and I haven't heard back yet. But I agree with the poster below, the program's communication has not been great. Earlier in the fall, they took a month to reply to application questions. No info sessions whatsoever either.

Part of me is disappointed because I felt that my application was relatively strong. However, I have been pretty disappointed with how Berkeley has handled the entire application process. Correct me if I am wrong, but in all of my looking around, I do not remember them offering any info sessions and it was really difficult to get ahold of any representatives in the department who can provide application information. Maybe I am just salty that I didn't get in, but I have been feeling weary about the program since the fall. Oh well! Onto the next!
