Graduate School Admission Results

I know that if you're reading these blogs, you're probably feeling anxious, but just keep positive. It'll happen. To make you feel better, know that I was not proud of my gpa. My overall was a 3.4, but my major gpa was a 3.6. My verbal was 161, math 157 and aw 4.5. I observed often, and was involved in research at undergrad. I spent a lot of time on my personal statement. I feel confident I belong in the program, despite not having a competitive gpa.

Thanks for the information, I was interviewed last Monday (03/10) but have not got any further update. I am for the CB track. When was your interview?

The email we received is a generic. Everyone who applied received an e-mail.

Correction on GRE. 2 yrs research, over 5 publications, including first author. Took the program so long, I emailed director, he told me to check website. Website was down, so I emailed the help desk, they verified my ID and notified me directly that I had been rejected. Took them so long it got my hopes up. 9/10 rejections.

Sigh..1 yr TA, 1 yr intern, some research

5 years 15k stipend, 2 yrs summer fellowship

Other people wrote that they got a letter from the MFA program first saying that they were recommended for acceptance and waiting on final notification from the dean. I got a letter from the dean over the website. I recently moved so maybe my letter from Stanley got lost in the mail forwarding mess? Either way, whew!
