Took the program so long, I emailed director, he told me to check website. Website was down, so I emailed the help desk, they verified my ID and notified me directly that I had been rejected. Took them so long it got my hopes up. 9/10 rejections.

Fiction, University Of Maryland (College Park) Other people wrote that they got a letter from the MFA program first saying that they were recommended for acceptance and waiting on final notification from the dean. I got a letter from the dean over the website. I recently moved so maybe my letter from Stanley got lost in the mail forwarding mess? Either way, whew!

English, University Of Maryland - College Park I e-mailed to inquire about my application to their Ph.D. program. They said that "it doesn't look likely" that they'd be able to admit me to the Ph.D., but Prof. Bauer said he could offer me a partially funded position in the M.A. class . . . I love U Maryland, but as I have other fully funded Ph.D. program offers, I'm torn, conflicted, and confused . . .
