Applied to the HCI track. Haven't seen anyone in HCI get in yet. If you're in HCI and got in, can you share your profile?

Given my diverse background of being half east asian, half south-east asian, and half american, I am proud to represent my homies from the mid. Thanks, ghost of Leland Stanford Jr, I wont let you down.

9 publications (7 first author) in A* top conferences, letters from very well-known professors, one best paper award. 2 positive interviews with POI and non-POI. Why exactly??? Area: ML

GRE not submitted. I feel I'm rejected by all of the top 4 schools (UCB, MIT, Stanford, CMU) where currently only S is official, but the other's silence showed their rejection. Applying for systems & networks. Did two research projects, one at my school one at a company. 1 pub on a workshop. Got admission from other schools, so I feel it's not that bad. Anyway, my application season is likely to come to its end now. The remaining thing is to collect rejection letters from these schools, including the top 4, Harvard, Princeton, UIUC.

Kinda rough, had 5 publications, 2 in journals and 3 in conferences. Expected since no interviews with POIs. No GRE.

Got an email telling me to check my status

Received an email to check the change of my status.

I was told there was an update on their website. Got rejected

Ok, c'mon rejections, come faster and harder. I just want this to be over soon. Don't care if all is gonna be reject, just want it to come to an end. Btw, this so crazy. I don't get it I'm not even waitlisted. Haha really? That competitive? Ok. To hell with it.
