Graduate School Admission Results

Hepth.

Applied to HEP-TH. Had 1 first-author publication in my field and contact with a professor there. Extremely sad and disappointed. Been rejected by all the schools I wanted to get into. HEP-TH selection is hard and criteria makes little (though I could obviously be biased.)

received an interview request to check my english in order to teach at Cornell at Friday, submitted it yesterday and email with acceptance came today

Ignore status. Given the exceptionally high capacity of this year's application, does it mean that if we got no message from a school at this point we are being waitlisted? As far as I know this year's waitlist is almost equal to late rejection.

Whatever. Got accept it in other places now.

Did Cornell take any hep-th students at all?

Ignore waitlist. Has Harvard sent out acceptances in AMO Physics? Are they sending out any more acceptances? I was not interviewed. Really waiting on this one. Rejected and waitlisted from other places already.

Is Stony Brook done sending offers? There is a single acceptance on gradcafe, and no rejections? Are they sending out acceptances in rounds?

There are only 3 acceptances on this website for Cornell. They will definitely take more right? Will there be a round 2? Or is it like they probably sent to many but those who got Cornell haven't posted here?
