TPB: I usually don't post here but it seems like nobody is answering and I feel your stress. I and a friend of mine received a notification to check the portal this morning and found the acceptance letter posted there. I hope this helps.

Did anyone hear from University of Houston?

TPB: If you haven't received any notification whatsoever from VU, then you'd do well to start making other plans. Not sure what to expect if you've been waitlisted, but they're aiming for an 8-person cohort this year and have already sent out more than enough offers to make that quota.

Did not get a scholarship. Might decline.

Is anyone waitlisted by NYU get invited to the open house visit? I was not...

For those asking for interview questions, first, PhD students have no access to your applications. That is to say, they will not know anything on your background and experience. PhD students are just going to ask some easy questions and record the interview for admission committees' review.

Got an email indicating interview by two PhD students.

Received a notification. The interview will be conducted by two current PhD students.

TPB: I got waitlisted on Feb 18 via email from Mattias Polborn (via Kathleen Finn). Their email suggested weakly that they'd already figured out admits, but I haven't seen anyone post here about it so maybe they haven't. Or maybe the intersection between people who got in and people who post here is an empty set. Idk.

TPB - To the Accepted with March 13 deadline: Does your offer include a tuition waiver and/or stipend? Thanks! TPB: Offer comes with full funding for four years.

TPB: Congratulations! Would you mind telling us when you uploaded the course information? A few days ago, some applicants received an email from Dr. Eraslan stating that they have not finalized the second round review. I am wondering if they have created different polls of applications, and they are still reviewing the materials uploaded on 16 Feb.

I had a video conference with Prof. Eraslan and have been admitted with full funding.
