Was not sent an email, but checked the website (after seeing other posts) and was informed of my acceptance. Was offered a full-tuition fellowship along with a $2500/month stipend. Very pleased with this offer! Congratulations to all others that got in!

My friend says he got accepted thats what I know. The first round for msml will only send 15 acceptances. Therefore its normal you can't find it here.

Has anyone gotten an email for waitlist for MSCS?

I did my undergrad at CMU but the METALS program is not in the same field as my undergrad degree.

TTPB: Are you sure that MSML acceptance are sent already? Because in gradcafe I could only find MSCV, MS -Robotics, and PhD (all streams) entries

I agree the CMU CS results are not reliable at all, not sure why people are motivated to put others through such misery when it doesn't even help them in any way.

General CS. Emailed this morning. Expected. No publications and low GRE scores. Now, I can't say I didn't try lol.

By end of this week do they mean by the end of the work week (5pm EST Friday)?

Accepted for Master's in computational data science. Bachelor's from tier 1 Indian university. Two research internships and one SWE internship. RA at another top Indian university since Fall '18. Good LoRs and decent SoP.

After getting the rejection from UT Austin, I immediately received the official letter from CMU that I'm accepted for MLT. I applied for the MLT/PhD program.

Rejected extremely unfairly. Bad selection criteria - Advisor who has funding only they will get you in the Ph.D. program regardless of how good work you have done during your master's program. SOP, Research papers, Recommendation letters - None of that matters. Admission committee doesn't even think that they are playing with the lives of students. Dejected with this horrible selection process. Worked really hard - will exit without a Ph.D. from here.

Does this link thing apply to the MSCS program only or does it apply to all masters programs under SCS?

Got an email from POI, the official email will come in a couple of weeks.

TTPB they send explicit waitlist emails (I at least know that they did for MSML)

Expected. At least I tried; first decision from any program though.
