Graduate School Admission Results

Double major in physics/engineering, 14 months equivilent full time research experience across two major projects and several minor projects including one I won funding for, 1 year TA/LA experiencing, 1 publication (not first author), several posters, and senior thesis (unpublished). I think there was a lack of fit between my interests and department research, on top of generally high competition (1700~ people for 40 slots).

A bit surprising since I had a very promising interview in which they said things like "you'd be a perfect fit" but that's OK. I was interviewed for PSFC despite my primary interest being experimental particle physics. Good luck to everyone else!

AMO, quantum information; interview three weeks ago; no publication

No interview, no publications or anything else too fancy, other than some academic accolades. Did not expect it!
