Graduate School Admission Results

TTPB: I am also waitlisted by U of T, and I have not heard from them. My friend who was admitted told me that they were required to make their decision before March 15, so I guess that the school will make decisions on the waitlist in recent days.

Got an email about an update to my application, went to the hub and found my decision. Accepted with a 75% tuition scholarship, I'm so pleased! It was the only program I applied to. I will most likely accept since I already live in NYC. Didn't give them GRE and had a social justice oriented application, kind of a left-field field of study but I had already spoken to my POI about it before applying. Should be ~2 weeks for me to receive any remaining financial aid info like loans.

Please decline your offer if you are considering other options. This is my dream school and will change my life!! Thank you!

A little disappointed but I had below average GRE scores and an average GPA. Congrats to everyone accepted!

Was waitlisted at both earlier this month. Turned down the waitlisted today, so anybody behind me will be moved up a spot.

I received an email today saying I was accepted but I will be declining this offer!

1 published paper in top ML conference. Strong academics/GRE. Strong LOR all from industry contacts (~7 years work experience). I think what helped the most, however, was an unusual SOP. My background is doing software in public sector/nonprofit. Long-term goal is to improve government. Lots of extracurrics that show this (i.e. serving on city committees). My SOP about my public sector goals may have been unusual compared to most applicants.

I don't really understand how I got into Northeastern and Emerson, but waitlisted here. They said that applicant pool was highly competitive this year!

Generic rejection email. Not even considered to be waitlisted. Well.

Will likely decline but very happy to have gotten another acceptance!
