Seems like I'm the first batch of rejects since none of my friends received their decisions yet.

Email rejection. Over 600+ applicants this year and they have a cap of 10%?

Top-notch LoRs; Papers in top Journals and Conferences; Best Research Awards; No GRE Got interviewed by the first-choice professor in the application.

Finished UG double major in neuroscience and computer science in 3 years; currently doing BIOE ms at Stanford. Had multiple research experiences but no publication. Wasn't expecting such an early result : (

UG Degree in Chemical Engineering (ChE). 3.5 years of research experience. Experience of working in multiple projects, 1 journal paper (2nd author). Experience of presenting at multiple conferences and winning various ChE-related competitions.

BS in ME and MS in EE. Robotics student--probably should have applied to ME or EECS instead for a better chance with the adcoms.

Graduate MS degree in Bioengineering, 4 years of research

First rejection lol. Kind of sad, but have been accepted to a few other of my top 5 programs so it's ok :')

Significant industry stem cell experience, 334 GRE

General rejection e-mail, especially because I have my own scholarship from my country

UCB/UCSF joint program. 7+ years research experience, 3 publications + 1 first author in progress
