TPB: Were you interviewed before this mail?

Email from the grad coordinator saying that there are only 4 Ph.D. slots and 150 applicants, and asking whether I'm interested in being considered for the Master's. I'm reading it as an implicit rejection for the Ph.D.

TPB: Congrats! Would you mind sharing more info? Like, did you receive an interview request prior to the admission?

Checked the status on the application page by myself.

TP'sB: Congrats on the admissions offers !! Is there a deadline to. accept the offer and are you guys accepting? Asking just to have an idea whether there will be any chance of second round offers.Thanks and stay safe :)

Got the rejection via e-mail on 2am (UK time). Expected result...good luck to you all!

TPB: Admitted student here. The "visit" day is still March 23rd, though it will be virtual through Zoom, from 9-5. Unsure if waitlisted students were invited, though admittedly 3/8 of the day will be spent doing one-on-one sessions with individual faculty meetings. We received a survey form last week to rank the faculty we'd like to speak with

TPB: I'm also on the waitlist and also not invited to the open house.

The visit day was scheduled for March 23. I was waitlisted and received an invitation, don't know if it was rescheduled

Does anyone know the process of this university in admission and funding? It really helps.

TPB: I heard that Duke invited only the top 10 of the waitlist (and not the rest of the waitlist) to the open house
