Waterloo undergrad, already accepted the offer from Waterloo

Area: Programming Systems / NLP. One interview with POI listed.

Email from DGS followed by an official acceptance notice a couple days later

Wow, they got back to us early. 30 people accepted out of 300ish, according to email

Are all admission notifications out? Another rejection for me..... Sigh......

Undergrad, HCI focus. 5 conference publications with 3 top-tier pubs as first author and 2 second-tier pubs as coauthor. Meet possible POI about 2 years ago at the conference, and knowing that my advisor has some connection with this POI. Heart broken results, but still need some improvements to get in I guess. Congrats to all who got admission :)

Universities should start mentioning reason for reject atleast so we get to know where to improve

5 years of Internships, 2 years Industry

Sad,love the location and the school,wondering why they admit so many non-CS background applicants.

Surprised, I have a masters of science in economics from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics already (8.5/10 GPA). Had talked with WUSTL previously and had been given very positive signs. Was encouraged to email the department chair regarding the decision. I haven't heard back yet.
