Chemistry, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) I applied for both chemical biology and organic. The POI was in chemical biology. I'm pretty disappointed too, but not surprised given the number of acceptances posted. I'm sure there will still be a couple more, though....at least, I hope.

Physics, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) Interview February 5, 15 minutes with prof from HEP-ex like @TTPB, but I indicated interest in astrophysics theory in app, mentioning only profs in that area. Is the interviewer just a member of the admissions committee or was interviewing for HEP-ex only?
