Hey Guys, Any news on CSD Ph.D. acceptance decisions? I realize that LTI Ph.D. acceptance is out. Not sure about MLD, HCI Ph.D. acceptance results though. There seems to be no discussion here on CSD Ph.D.

MSAII GRE: V 167/ Q 167/ A 5 TOEFL: 120/120 GPA: 9.04/10 Co-author on 6 papers, lead author in one of them. I was applying to Master's because I thought I wouldn't make the cut for PhD. Oh well.

MSIIS rejected

Received an email from POI saying that I had been accepted into the MLT program. My application was specifically focused on the PhD in language and information technology, so I'm not really sure whether to be happy or really disappointed. :/

To the poster below, I cannot find where the decision tab is located in my application. Where did you find it?

To the poster below, it most likely means a reject. They've sent out all admits and should send rejections soon, just like in the past couple of years. I believe they may reconsider apps that didn't make the cut if too many people choose to go somewhere else.

Thought it was kinda safe! from an iit, no papers, several projects and 3 internships, strong sop and lors no idea why i was rejected

Computational Biology Department - I really expected to get in. I've been in contact with a faculty there and he seems interested. I already have an admission from UCLA but really preferred this one. Sad.
