Graduate School Admission Results

Did not receive an email to check the website, but I just checked it and the results were there.

I haven't been waitlisted, but I am wondering if anyone has heard anything from this program. I was interviewed and accepted two admissions cycles ago, but did not receive funding so ultimately did not enroll. I have received full funding to a few other programs this admissions season, but I am waiting on a decision from Syracuse before choosing. (At this point a rejection would be just fine; I just don't want to move forward until I have a full picture of all of my options.)

I wasn't waitlisted for this program, I am just wondering if anyone has heard back from them. I see one poster below who has heard from the PhD in English, which is within the same department... I have been offered full funding to a couple of other programs that I am more interested in than Kent State, so I am wondering if it would benefit someone else to withdrawal my application.

Received a notification to check the admissions portal. The acceptance letter detailed the stipend amount, course allotment, health insurance coverage, and other department-related processes.

NOT A WAITLIST - just providing an update from the Faculty of Music. They said that they're hoping to send out offers next week (I applied for the MPhil). What a brutally long wait!

They review applications IMMEDIATELY after the submission deadline. Was contacted the next day by the GPD to clarify a section of my app. Then, radio silence until today (March). Received generic email and letter. If you have not heard back by the end of January for an interview, consider it time to move on. Good luck, everyone!
