Interview for PhD/PsyD

Domestic - No GRE (met exemption criteria) - No Masters - Letter did not mention funding

Research interests did not really align with mine. But bummed as I thought I could get in

Not surprised. Wasn't satisfied with my writing sample and felt like my interest didn't align with the program.

GPA is grad.

Email that inform to check the portal. had 2 interview in mid-january

Got an email: "We take into account a broad spectrum of factors: transcripts, general educational background, prior experience, statements of interest, and letters of recommendation. We seek exceptional aptitude for doctoral study, commitment to research, and alignment with the current research agendas of faculty and the School. Because our doctoral program represents an intensive commitment of faculty time and financial resources, we are able to admit only a small number of candidates." Congratulations to those who have been accepted. You've made it!

International applicant. PI wanted me but was waitlisted due to limited funding. Heard the news unofficially and the official letter will come out next week. Congrats in advance to all those who gets accepted ! Also, if you're an international applicant not planning to come, I'd appreciate very much if you can turn down UofT offer to rescue us from the waiting game.

Communication concentration. Accepted but waiting for funding. No previous chat with PI. GPA is master's.

So sad.. I screwed up! I hope you guys prepare well.

CSE. Had an internship at UW. 3 interviews, so not a surprising offer. Research in ML.

MLD. One conference paper, one workshop paper. Got an interview from an incoming faculty, but still rejected eventually.
