Inorg chem track, accepted via email. International student with 3.94 GPA, no GRE, 2 publications, 1 conference talk, 22 months research overall and 3 LORs from research faculty. Visitation weekends on 10th and 17th of March!

Ignore the status “waitlist”. Did anyone hear back from this program? Did anyone get an interview?

Ignore the waitlist. Anyone knows when Stanford EE will release admission offers? In past years, it should be within the first week of February.

2+ years research in two renowned environmental think tank, 2 years part-time RA at gradschool with four different projects, 2 pubs (1st and 2nd auth), several published conference proceedings and working papers, multiple conference presentations, similar masters & undergrad GPAs, strong LORs (non-American scholars), multiple field research experiences in line with the proposed PhD research, no GRE. Feeling so much impostor applying to US universities with education qualifications from (top) universities in Asia.

Last night I received an email inviting me to the interview stage. "We are delighted to inform you that you have been selected to interview for the PhD Program with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University! Congratulations on your impressive record. We look forward to learning more about you. All interviews for the Mechanical Engineering PhD program will be conducted via video conference between Tuesday, February 1 and Tuesday, February 8, 2021. You can expect to receive three emails from ME faculty members to set up your interviews."
