Graduate School Admission Results

Received email saying application not approved for MS. Dont know about M.Eng. Still waiting for that..

To the poster below, how many students have been contacted for the MS program (not the Meng one)? I am guessing the results should come by early April based on previous years statistics.

International Student, research internship and decent academic credentials.

Got rejected via email, no further explanation, already had contact with a professor, international Fulbright scholar

I got the official email from the graduate program coordinator. I got the email today at 7:04 AM ET. I also interviewed with two professors and one current graduate student last month. I hope this helps.

Emailed by program director to expect an official letter of acceptance later today. So excited! I really didn't think I'd get in.

General rejection. It seems like they are sending out many rejections today. At least this gave me a closure.

Have mailed college regarding decision 3 times in last 2 months.Was once told result will be out mid feb-march, on the 2nd mail was told end of feb and in the last mail was told result will be out by 2nd of March. ffs this is just ridiculous. At least have the decency to mail regarding wait-list,rejection or acceptance.No respect for this college at all now.Congrats to one who got accepted and to those who didn't it's ok keep working harder don't give up.

From previous years experience, Cornell seems sent all offers at once so I agree with the post below. It's pretty safe to call a reject right now.

TTPB: I spoke to a POI at Cornell last week and he told me that I would hear back this week. However, seeing as it's already Friday, it's possible that's changed. I would tentatively expect to hear today, if not early next week. Best of luck!
