Physics, University Of Oklahoma Despite having withdrew my application 1 month ago, the department emailed me an acceptance. I am now in a superposition of accepted and rejected (until the chair of the graduate committee wakes up and observes my response email).

Physics, Rutgers University-New Brunswick I am wait-listed at Rutgers for hep-th/hep-ex. I sincerely request you to decline the offer at Rutgers if you are not going to attend. This is my only hope as I have no other offers. It would mean a lot to me. This is my second year applying and I really need to get in this year.

Physics, Carnegie Mellon University mailed them and they said all offers and waitlists have been made, haven't sent rejections because if someone declines, they may consider other people. Therefore, I humbly request you to reject CMU if you have a better place in terms of ranking or fit, cos I've found 3+ profs with excellent research fit here. This is my very last hope in this 3rd cycle :(

Physics, Ohio State University I got accepted to Ohio State earlier in March for their Physics Ph.D. but just declined the offer. They are having their open house on Sunday and Monday, so hopefully one of you waitlisted will get an offer soon and be able to visit. Good luck!
