Disappointment!

Major: Digital Science - Software Development, Minor: Computer Science, 3.5 GPA. Interned and wrote software for Carnegie Mellon CERT in summer 2018. 3 web/software developer internships during undergraduate.

TTPB: MCDS results aren't out yet so I'm pretty sure the person who said results would be out today wasn't being honest.

Undergraduate studies at IIT, gpa in top 10% of the class, internship at USC, 1 publication (under peer review at the time of application submission but accepted now), 2 research based LoRs + 1 course based LoR

With master. 2 top conference full papers (1st-author) + 2 top short papers. Worked as an intern at CMU last summer so have a connection. Good luck to everyone!

MSR. Strong research experience (one paper accepted at IEEE data mining), Strong LoR.

3.7 GPA, top 15 US undergrad, 2 years of exp as a ML Engineer at well known tech company. Expected, still waiting on CDS program as that was my main goal anyways.

2 papers 1 accepted at IJCAI. I don't know what they want.

TTPB: It sounds like someone is just making all of this up. "Only acceptances will be released this week", "I can access this form" even though no one else can, etc. Sounds like someone decided to scare everyone that applied to CMU.

To the poster below, I got accepted by MLD and there is no interview.

To the posters below: It seems that you will have access to ALL decision forms as long as you are admitted into ANY of the programs under SCS. I believe being able to log into the system (or not) really doesn't mean anything. Relax!!!

When I tried to log in, it also said something like unauthorized access and the link is not from the admission email. TTPB, what did you see when and after you logged in?

CSD PhD, no interview.

Reject by machine learning department.

Expected a Reject :)

Had an interview with the ad com head a few days back. 1.5 yrs of research, no publications.
