GR, 1 submitted paper when applying, 0/5/19

CMT, with background in HET and CMT. Strong points were lots of grad courses (~15), 3 leading author papers, and LORs from rock-solid faculty. Had interview 3 weeks before. Went okay, but was feeling off that day and could've done much better. Disappointing, but not the end of the world... Boston is cold.
