How long is Columbia waitlist usually? Do the waitlisted candidates still stand a chance?

TTPB: Hey, did they tell you anything about when they will make the final decisions on the waitlist or where do you stand on the waitlist? I am in the same boat as you.

Still in contention, grateful not to have been rejected. It is my top choice so still holding out hope for good news from the admit team. Anyone else still waitlisted?

TTPB: No there's no mention of the batch size. Rejection Email -- Dear XYZ : After careful evaluation of your application to Columbia University Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, the Committee on Admissions regrets to inform you that your application for graduate study has not been approved. Admission to Columbia University Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science is highly selective. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate the full number of talented applicants who apply each year. The time and effort you spent in preparing your application and the interest you have demonstrated is very much appreciated. The Committee wishes you success in your future educational and professional endeavors.

Can anyone share their rejection email?? Is the batch size mentioned anywhere?

Applied in Jan, no interview, no admit, no rejection notification. Has everyone who wasn't notified until now received a rejection or anyone in the same boat as me?

Got in a few other comparable programs, just want closure at this point. Good luck everyone!

Generic Rejection. I reckon it's due to my low GRE score and not-so-special profile (no research papers, 1 internship, no work ex). Didn't have an interview. Tip for future applicants: If you don't get selected for an interview (at least for CS and DS at Columbia), there's a 95% chance you won't get in. Anyway, good luck to everyone who got in.

Got off the waitlist finally!

Anybody who got waitlisted but hasn't heard back yet? I was waitlisted on 16th April and they said they will be rolling out admits in the next 2 weeks but nothing so far

Sincere request to please withdraw from the acceptance if you don't plan on actually choosing this university. Thanks :)

I've had no communication from them whatsoever. No interview, no rejection either. It's already May 1 and most schools have deadlines for 4/30. I have no interest in this school anymore

TTPB : Has anyone tried contacting them to know the status of the applications?

TTPB: It seems like they are releasing decisions in waves spanned across 7 days (14th, 21st, 28th..), so the next one should probably be around the 5th. Also once their batch size is full based on the number of admits who pay the deposit, it's likely that all rejections will go out at the same time.

Hi, Do they admit anyone without interviewing them? I have neither received a rejection or any form of communication from their side. Should I even hope for something good?

haven't received anything since the interview on 3/29....not even waitlisted do I have any chances for admission....?
