E-mail directed me to website rejection. It was like some cruel scavenger hunt with a pile of shit @ the end

I guess I didn't do well enough on the ETS high school math test for them.

No funding, just the possibility of being a TA

Japan Studies Graduate Recruitment Fellowship (tuition/fees + $20,000) for the first year, TA position ($16,750-$18,700) for years 2, 3, and 4

I applied in January and had to commit somewhere else by April 15th. Jerks.

IR for me, won\'t know until April they say (but will get funding if I get off the list apparently).

Defeated, disappointed, dispirited...hic...hic...

One professor with whom I contacted emailed to notify that the admission committee accepted my application.
