Graduate School Admission Results

Got rejected, and not sure if this is standard for all those who apply, but I was told they pre-approved me to be a "graduate special student" if I wanted. Basically, I can take graduate classes there (if there is space and instructor approval), but there is no guarantee that I will be accepted into a program if I reapply next year, and if I am only 9 credits would be eligible for transferring... Also, "special students" are not eligible for any financial aid. It gives we want your money but not you... I much rather would have preferred to have been flat-out rejected.

[IGNORE STATUS] Has anyone heard back from U of T? Historically, they’ve given out acceptances and rejections for PhD and MA applicants by now, but I’ve yet to hear back from them. The stress of waiting is starting to get to me haha

Out of state, 4.0 CSD GPA, 3rd quartile for CASPER, involved in research, exec for CSD club

Beginning to plan a different career. I hope the few lucky ones have a great experience.

BSc in maths for AI from a top uni in Italy (not so regarded in maths though), I had to put in some extra work to meet the requirements (I took extra math courses, both in Italy and during an exchange semester). Decent SoP, good LoRs. Experience in maths olympiads and recipient of a scholarship dedicated to undergrad math students.

Emailed to check the portal. Will probably accept if I can afford it

Regular notification to check portal, very plain letter. Applied straight from undergrad, 0a/4r/0w/0i/2p for PhD. I only applied to one MPH & was accepted early Feb.
