Graduate School Admission Results

Hello TTPB, congrats to you both! Do you know if all the POIs have sent decisions? At my interview, poi said to inform them if I hear from another school before they send out decisions, but I didn't do that. Would by any chance, this be early communication based on such info? If you can tell, that would be helpful, if not I understand. Thanks!

Notified by email from POIs that I had been recommended for admission to the school, and to look out for an official offer soon.

TTPB: Did he get any emails from the department?

Writing for my friend. I guess he was right being "like that" ! CMT btw!

Undergrad applicant, 4.0 GPA, 1.5 years research experience.

Physical chemistry, offered additional fellowships.

Anyone hear from them yet? Quant?

TTPB: It was from the acceptance email, I think they will send more than 25 offers since some will decline, I think that is just the number of spots they have available for students that accept their offers

TTTB: Where did you hear that they are only accepting 25 students?

Email said over 800 applicants with only 25 spots

Just had an interview on Feb 05. Received an offer right away.

Notified by the director, 21k/year stipend for the teaching assistantship

For the post made on Feb 8: AMO, unofficial acceptance

Notified through email from the professors I interviewed with (2 months ago) stating that I have been recommended to the Graduate School for acceptance into the program. Will be accepting the offer when I recieve the official email from the grad school.
