Computer Science, UC Santa Cruz (UCSC) Was pretty sure I wouldn't get in without any research experience. But 1 year in industry + good test scores and LORS was enough I guess. Going to UCI instead but it was a tough choice!

Computer Science, UC Santa Cruz (UCSC) TTPB, I am also in same confusion b/w SBU and UCSC, maybe we can connect separately and discuss? Or if anyone here can share their opinion. I am particularly looking for AI focussed courses.

Computer Science, University Of California, Santa Cruz Phew, they really took a lot of time to release the decisions this year. Had good LORs, good SOP, really really good personal statement specifically for UCSC, 1 publication in a peer-reviewed conference, 2.5 years of work-ex at a top US investment bank and quite a bit of open source experience. Have to decide between UCSC and Stony Brook now.

Literature, University Of California, Santa Cruz I had missed a few calls earlier around the time people were getting theirs. Last week I received an email about them wanting to get in touch. So excited! GPA is MA. German University. Undergrad was at UCSC.
