Got accepted via email, no portal update

Received an email that i'll get the formal acceptance in a few weeks time

Email from Luskin School - "The UCLA Division of Graduate Education will be sending you formal notification of your acceptance via email within a few weeks."

received a call last week from a professor about my overall application being in the top 20! And should hear from them via email soon.

Accepted into the Combined MSW/Ph.D. program in Social Welfare at UCLA

The interview went really nice. There were a number of professors. I was asked five questions. It felt like a very welcoming environment. I'm excited and hopeful I'll be accepted. I ask some questions as well. That's the second time I'm applying, last year I did not make off the wait-list. According to the graduate director I should have a final decision by the end of next week.

I was rejected from the waitlist. The rejection came after I sent an e-mail to the chair asking about the timeline for a final decision on April 19. I applied to the combined MSW/PhD.

Checked myucla and saw acceptance, nothing from email or portal

In case there's someone who have not yet submitted their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR), if could do so ASAP, that will be incredibly important to the waitlisted folk.
