Graduate School Admission Results

Accepted, but have to decline as I was accepted into my top program a few months ago.

GRE was not required. GPA on 4.3 scale was 3.98

BEd in second languages (French major, German minor) with a 3.7 GPA. Average analytical score, above average verbal and below average quantitive on the GRE. Out of province, decent amount of volunteer hours working as a tutor with school age kids.

received informal offer of admissions. I performed very average on the GRE, have lots of related experience working with individuals with disabilities, from NS, and have an Honours degree in Psychology with thesis (i.e., strong research experience). best of luck to all applicants!

3.51 sub-GPA, 500 volunteer hours with an S-LP. 2 academic references, 1 professional reference, 1 reference from S-LP. First time applying for Dalhousie.

Waitlisted Ontario applicant with 4.05 GPA on the 4.3 scale. Undergrad degree in Linguistics (concentration in psycholing and communication disorders), with TA and research experience. I've been accepted elsewhere, so I'll be accepting one of my other offers and taking myself off f the Dalhousie waitlist. Congrats to those accepted/waitlisted!

400+ hours of SLP-specific volunteering, 100 BI, 1000+ with kids (but independently). OK GPA, in consistent marks so perhaps that played a role too. They got about 250 applicants this year. Best of luck to everyone else :)

Canadian. This was my second time applying. 100+ hours volunteering, great references. I think my low GPA and average GRE scores contributed. Good luck to everyone! I have applied to other amazing grad programs and I know the Lord has other plans for me so I am not sad!

Was also waitlisted last year, didn't get in. Hoping for a better result this year.

Third year being waitlisted here. Hope I get off the list!
