Interview in early November. I have external funding so did not apply to any TA/RA.

Unfortunately, I was admitted to thesis-based masters instead. They also generally require masters for PhD admission. The PI already warned me about the funding situation before applying. Shucks to be me.

Accepted for Non Thesis MS without Funding

Just wanted to let ya'll know decisions aren't over. The PI emailed me yesterday to let me know he was still reviewing my materials and I'd hear back soon.

No funding has been provided yet.

Interviewed with PI and got accepted letter a week later.

Applied to the master's thesis program but was accepted to the non-thesis program (not funded)

I have been accepted for the MS Non-Thesis instead, mentioning that it can be moved to thesis track again if funding becomes available.
