Received email from Graduate Admissions Director that I was waitlisted, Comparative Politics subfield; International applicant outside of the US. I was also waitlisted last year but later rejected :/ Let's see how it would end this year.

IGNORE INTERVIEW. Has anyone heard back from WGSS department? I haven't heard anything yet just pending decision.

I wonder how many students are they accepting each year…

To the person commenting about the MPhil below: I know they have sent out some decisions already – I've heard of some rejections, and one of my classmates received an offer last week. I received an email about 3 weeks ago telling me that I hadn't been nominated for funding but that I was still being considered for a place. Perhaps you're in the same situation?

Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, 1 good internship and 3+ years of SWE related work experience.

I had an interview (but the professor who interviewed told me it was not an interview and was more like a casual talk) in January. Fully funded.

Ignore the status. Has anyone already got offer/interview from CMU CEE PhD IESS track? Any information would be much appreciated!

hep-th/cosmology, I'd really appreciate if people who have better offers would reject their offer. I have external deadlines and CMU may be my only shot.

Ignore status. I have not heard from admissions yet (portal still says application is "ready for assessment"). However, I saw that some applicants have received decisions already. Is someone else still waiting for a decision & does someone know whether more acceptances will be sent out?
