Still in the waiting list since March If anybody has an offer from UMass and has decided to go somewhere else, please let them to know your decision. That may make my day.

No information about the funding with the offer; 1.5 years of research experience, very strong recommendation letters.

Upon inquiry and after an interview-- unofficially "waitlisted"... I expect a swift and absolute rejection will follow this great dishonor and shame my family. I must have shown more than ten percent of my true power this time, and startled them... Senpai, forgive meeee! ((performs hara-kiri))

Does anyone know how close they are to completing their admissions?

I inquired and got to know that they've already sent out some offers. Those who got in, plz share your stats...

Can anyone tell whether UMass has sent out all the offers?

It's July, I knew it was a no, but figured if they had anyone else still sitting in the aether. Notification was weird, mainly three lines that were very focused on letting me know a 3.0 GPA was required.

ApJ paper in prep. Applied for PhD program (and their funding) with astroparticle physics advisors, was deferred to Master's program (with no funding offers) and assigned the graduate program director as my "initial advisor" (nanoscience research). Sorry on the late notifications, but I emailed the director to inquire about funding and haven't heard anything. I saw there was a physics PhD rejection so I'm wondering if anyone else got deferred and if there might be a pathway to a MTU PhD. I'm still waiting to hear back from post-baccs and funded master's so my decision is still pending
