Graduate School Admission Results

Admitted due to extracurriculars, not because of academics. The decision came out WEEKS after when they previously told me. Unfortunately, the admissions letter said that Fellowships, RA/TAships, and any sort of "school sponsored funding" is not available/allowed for this program- nowhere on the program site or the application process did they mention it. Disappointed in the timing and lack of communication on their part, especially with something as crucial as funding.

This my last hope for this admission cycle... To anyone who has an offer and doesn't plan to go there - please reject soon!

I did not hear anything about scholarship, philosophy was my double major (3.77), my first major was psychology (3.92).

Please DECLINE your offer, if you do not want to pursue your PhD at the University of Utah. I am still on the waitlist and highly interested in this program. This is my only chance!
