Reconsidered for an admit after cohort size increased after an initial letter of rejection

Ignore waitlist. Mom reached out to the department at ASU tempe. She was told M.S. Program for Neuroscience won't be reviewed until after deadline of July 1st for Fall 2024. I got letters of acceptance from two other major unis, so she suggested I just select one of those. Not sure if the program is lacking funding. They said it was new. She asked about PHD program, no response about admission letters there.

Received acceptance along with Duke. Was waiting for ASU - but their department said they are not looking at grad applications until August 2024. Accepting one of the others.

I had put my application in at the very last minute. I had an interview through Zoom a couple weeks later. I'm not getting funding but was notified Friday and am very excited as I am a first generation undergraduate and am grateful for this opportunity and challenge.

Yunnan University (YNU), a qs 1000+ Chinese Mainland school. I am disappointed that I did not get any opportunity to participate in the interview. It seems that my school is unknown to most of the professors in the US.

Major mechanical engineering. PGRE 910/990, GRE 317/340, 1 internship in a national lab, no paper, I guess two strong LORs. I got offer letters from OU, FSU, UA, UTK, and NCSU. Finally, I have decided to go the University of Tennessee in Astrophysics. I turned down the rest of the offer letters. All the best for everyone.
