Graduate School Admission Results

To some of the people who've posted below: I also have not received a response yet. Starting to get nervous thinking that perhaps they're waiting to send rejection letters until last since others have apparently been accepted already, some with funding even. I wish they would just send these things letters all at once. Although I've been accepted into other programs such as U of Washington, NYU, U of Minnesota, Georgia Tech, and U of Utah so a rejection by UCLA would be strange given my track record.

RE below: I have got the same offer today, and this is my safety program since I have heard from Ph.D,s there that their recent placement is even worse than what they post in their website, Anyway, it is the chance for people to continue phd if they are rejected by all pure econ department... like me.

Got an admit after an telephonic interview! Will be selecting computational mechanics as my stream. Will be declining offer from RWTH Aachen CAME course as it is a paid course.

Has anyone from Kent State University heard anything in the clinical psychology program? I called and the secretary said the decisions have been made, so i just have to wait for the graduate admissions to send the decisions but its been like a week since she said that... Has anyone heard anything?

Please decline UCSD soon if you don't intend to enrol. Help a brother in need of your help. Will be grateful :)

Second notification, come with funding this time

Rejected for PhD but offered a spot on the waitlist for the MA. :(

TA with tuition waiver and about $16000. Mailed Feb. 21.

3.75, 3.59 chem, decent GRE, low chem GRE, lots of research, no publications, was told over the phone that LOR from my professor (who did his post-doc at Penn) raved about me and I think made the difference in the end

I received my acceptance via email today as CC-I (had my interview with them on 4/4). For those that are wondering, we have until April 21st to accept the offer. I will be declining the offer as I have already accepted SJSU's offer- hope this helps some one out there! I'm a first time applicant with experience in tutoring students with autism, volunteering at summer camps for children with special needs, working with seniors with Alzheimer's in a senior home, shadowing SLP, and a research assistant researching infant language development. To the poster below inquiring about my difficulty in choosing between Ryerson and UofT. UofT is a 2 year program, costing $36K with only $3K in funding. Ryerson is1 year (with research opportunities AND internship), costing less than $10K, with a potential of $16K in funding. After spending weeks in turmoil, I've finally decided to accept the financial burden of UofT due to the program's prestige. Are you attending UofT in the fall as well?
